Nenshi is done from AB Municipal Politics!

This does not come across a surprise for most Albertans. Mayor Nenshi has officially announced that he will not be seeking re-election in the upcoming Alberta Municipal Election set for this October.

Jeromy Farkas has shown a strong campaign since he first announced his Candidacy for mayor back in September.

"I'm running because I believe in Calgary, and I'm running to give Calgarians something to vote for rather than against," says Farkas. "Now is the time not just because of the challenges that we're facing, but the fact that we need hope, hope for their future." He asserts that voters throughout the City need "an alternative to the usual, tired status-quo."
