CanPar No Longer Shipping Firearms or Ammo
Updated: May 31, 2021
"We are no longer carrying firearms. We're really sorry for the inconvenience. We don't ship any kind of firearms or anything related to that."
As of noon yesterday, that's the case with CanPar, one of Canada's leading economical delivery services.
According to Jordan Vandenhoff, the NFA Executive Director published the video above, the announcement was made "with no prior heads-up."
Canadian gun forums are not taking this well. "In any case we will not be using CanPar going forward, for anything" wrote one gun user. "If they are continuing to ship other types of hazardous materials, then it's clearly virtue signaling and nothing else," added another.
Canada’s National Firearms Association urges calm in the Canpar shipping controversy. Our information is that the matter is not final and that there may have been a hasty decision by a Canpar TFI administrator.
CSAAA and NFA have communicated on this matter, and we are optimistic that service may be restored. We will keep you posted as we learn more about this developing situation.
In the meantime, please remain calm about the matter, and especially do not make angry statements about Canpar and TFI.
