BREAKING: Hon Pierre Poilievre bounced out of Finance Critic Role to over see jobs & industry

Finance Critic, Pierre Poilievre is known for being one of the strongest and high profile conservitive critics sitting on the front bench of the party. He has openly fought for Canadians rights and freedoms by going toe-to-toe with Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland and before her Bill Morneau. Pierre has also taken on the Liberal government and stood up to Trudeau himself; especially when his ethics are in question, i.e. WE Charity scandal.
Pierre even had this to say after taking the liberal government to task about the high rate of jobs losses in November. “Others here in the bubble, inside Ottawa, might be fascinated by the palace intrigue of leadership politics; but if you are one of those 71,000 people who just lost your job in November you probably couldn’t care less.”
For some reason Pierre is now being moved to the role of critic for jobs and industry. This is apparently due to Erin O’tool’s plan to help Canada recover from the pandemic and focus wholeheartedly on the economy. Although this might feel like a demotion for one of the most well known MP’s O’toole does not think it should be viewed as one.
