$100,000 Reward For Anyone with any info about Calgary Murder Suspect
December 13, 2015 Kier Bryan Granado (24) and Joseph Trieu (26) took the life of Hussein Merhi (26). They shot him and fled the scene. Eventually Joseph Trieu was caught. A security camera in the alley caught footage of a black SUV leaving the scene. On Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2015, Police found the SUV at Trieu’s Parent’s home. He was brought into custody and later on charged with one count of accessory after the fact to murder. Granado however, has never been found.
The CPS released a statement, “In cooperation with Calgary Crime Stoppers, The Bolo Program offers a reward of $100,000 that can be claimed anonymously for any information leading to an arrest.” The reward will be available until July 20, 2021.
It’s important to note that at the time of the shooting Kier was found to be a member of the FK Gang. The shooting created a domino effect that resulted in the loss of 33 lives. This is an even higher body count then we saw in the 2008 gang wars. Also, Police believe that Merhi was targeted as he and Granado were acquainted.
CPS believes that there are still people in the Calgary area that have information pertaining to Granados whereabouts. If you would like to report any anonymous information call:
